Company History internetExpresso was founded in 1993, in the beginning of the growing Internet and Coffeehouse phenomenon, as Cyberian Expresso, approximately one year before the JAVA programming language debuted.

The company's first role in the Internet arena was to provide high-speed Internet access in coffeehouses and bookstores. Expresso entered the Internet industry as one of the first on the Cybercafe scene, providing Public Internet Access in Coffeehouses nationally, known then as The Global Cafe Society. Having the distinction of establishing one of the first Cyber Cafes in the U.S., Expresso went on to pioneer the development of proprietary electronic (SmartCard) solutions for tracking membership and online usage in the coffeehouse environment.

As Internet awareness and popularity grew globally, Expresso branched out into Web Design, Internet marketing and advertising and eventually ventured into eCommerce, eMarketing and Search Engine Optimzation. Cyberian Expresso changed its name to internetEXPRESSO in late 1999, after expanding its focus and direction within the exploding Internet marketplace, keeping tradition with its JAVA based roots.
